GandujeThe Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has laid 1,000 millimetre water pipes, as part of efforts to supply water to areas where it has been scarce.
While supervising the exercise, the Governor said that his Government remained determined to ensure that water reaches all parts of the state.
The laying of additional water pipes in Kano State started during the administration of the immediate past governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, but could not be completed.

Governor Ganduje also supervised the construction of the Oreology Hospital in Zoo road, Kano. The project also started during the administration of former Governor Ibrahim Shekarau.
According to Governor Ganduje, his administration would continue to ensure the completion of both uncompleted and abandoned projects in Kano State. He stated his belief that continuity is the major source of sustainability in Governance.
The Governor urged Kano residents to continue to cooperate with contractors, in order to ensure timely completion of the projects.
He also warned the contractors against delay, emphasizing the need to deliver the projects awarded to them within the stipulated period of time.
